Exactly. Take a white kid who grew up in a mostly black New Orleans neighborhood and he'll probably have a lot in common with the blacks mentioned above.

Take a black kid raised in a quiet middle-class community and he'll have more in common with his white neighbors than black cousins that live in the ghetto.

It's all about attitude and beliefs and values. From my experience in Mississippi, Blacks there were more God-fearing and socially conservative than most of the whites.

Some Blacks let the color of their skin define what their attitudes are, and they are encouraged by the likes of Jesse Jackson. Most of us are willing to be color-blind, but they aren't.

Racism will always exist, but those who take an attitude of "So What?" and don't let it get in their way will find a way to succeed in life.

The Jacksons and the Sharptons make their money off of telling Blacks, "the White man won't let you succeed."
