When does Blanco's term expire? Anyone know?
Blanco was elected in the Nov. 2003 election. If La. Gov. is a 4 year gig, then she's 1/2 way through it.

Not soon enough. This slack-jawed idiot only got into to office because her husband has been a high-profile politico for years and years. We could have had Bobbi Jindal, a great guy and congressman. Instead we got this fool. Many people regret having voted for her.
This is what you get when people vote like ignorant sheeple because all their democrat relative told them to. This is a prevalent attitude in Louisiana.

Not soon enough. The military saved their butts & Blanco has the audacity to complain. Can't the President bring her up on charges, or something? Start impeachment procedings, anything.
I agree with those giving a short (or already expired) date on her tenure.
I give her about 72 hours, and Nagin another 48.
I'd say criminal charges follow about two weeks later.
Charges will be filed in the Netherlands Human Rights Court by November (of course, they'll include Bush, but for not having arrested them sooner).
