The Guardian, as far to the left as it leans, was also the first to debunk our government's production that abused Jessica Lynch for the amazonian feminist interests among our "elite." Even a socialist propaganda outlet is correct at times.
Other than looting, in the end it will probably be found that crime was actually down in the New Orleans area. Given the flooded streets and the history of crime in that city, I find it hard that it would be up.
one rumor I wish I knew was not true, was the one I heard today about the nursing home....where the caregivers were able to take out so many patients, the ones they thought could make it, and left the rest , who drowned in their own beds......horrifying.....

The gov't may have made an action movie out of her rescue, but the horrid fact that she'd been anally raped didn't come out until her authorized biography was published several months later. I don't give a rat's ass about the Guardian "debunking" Lynch's rescue when the real truth of her capture was kept from the public.
