To: the Deejay

The buses weren't running. Most of them have probably not left the city of New Orleans in their lives. These are not a traveling people.

I agree they did not do all they could to save themselves. But many had little knowledge of the ways of the world outside their neighborhood.

Oh please, spare me. Enumerate those that did not have television or access to the public airwaves or relatives that did not relate the impending storm via landline or cell phone or a personal visit.

You are stating that, in your words, "Many had little knowledge of the ways of the world outside their neigborhood."

Your post defies logic, is not rooted in fact, is obsequious and demeaning to those that perished or are homeless.

As for the buses not running, phone the "mayor" of NO. I encourage you to see the hundreds of school buses now swimming with the fish. You'll find the picture posted numerous times here.

Ignorance is not bliss, especially when a Cat 4 hurricane is coming your way.

Come back when you have a more lucid excuse.
