Kind of reminds me when we used to "adopt" a family at Christmas at the office and everyone would bring in gifts. Last time we delivered them on Christmas eve the mother was drunk and upset her kid didn't get a bicycle. We quit and made a donation to the Children's home, they were very appreciative.
