I wonder how many other people on vacation still have to be on call at a moments notice, still have to receive foreign leaders, still have to be briefed daily, etc. I don't exactly call what President Bush does a vacation. He was just away from D.C. It doesn't mean he got to get away from the stresses of being the leader of the free world.

It doesn't mean he got to get away from the stresses of being the leader of the free world. Not to mention it make it a whole lot easier for a whole lot of the REST of the Federal government (most notably the Secret Service and White House staff) to take their own vacations in August -- while the President is out of town.
