But you forgot Halliburton is getting the clean up of Navy installations- evil conspiring Cheney whose doing bad things.
Alaska is at fault for the flooding. Yes, the media said that Alaska has so much pull that it took all the money from the Corps of Engineers to build bridges going nowhere while the Levees in LA rotted.
Do you think the heads at CNN or the NYTs ever sit back and try to take a look at the greater picture and say to themselves, "Holly crap, this is getting absurd."?
Red6
Uh, that's becuase the "editors" of the New York Times and CNN are the MEMBERS of whacko internet sites like moveon.org and demo underground. What the hell do you think these kooks DO in their off time? They go home, get all their "talking points" from the whacko-left, then go to work the next day and VOMIT out the talking points like a mother African wild dog who vomits out a chunk of meat for her pups to eat.
THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE between the New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, the Washington Post, the LA Times and the RABID, HATE-FILLED LEFT. THEY ARE ONE AND THE SAME!!!

Both sides, and everyone on internet forums, are playing the blame game, each according to their pre-chosen side.
Phooey. I don't trust anyone. Everyone in politics, whether pro or amateur, will say ~anything~ and call it the truth.

And it's EXACTLY this kind of thinking that will get you Hillary Clinton taking the oath of office as President in January, 2009. Trust me, 4 years of Hillary and you'll be BEGGING for a president like Bush.

The hurricane only had 150 mph winds for a short time. Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson have a combined wind gust of over 300 miles per hour. Only problem there is, Jesse and Al are always blowing hot air while the storm has thankfully left the area.

"I think that people are so jaded by the blame game that pointing the finger at someone just backfires these days. Anytime something bad happens, you can bet that partisans will point their fingers at politicians they don't like irrespective whether they had anything to do with it."
By 'partisans', don't you really mean Democrats. Republicans usually don't try it without facts, since the media is in bed with the Democrats.

All true, but I think it's unfair to Scalia who now will never be Chief Justice.
Life isn't fair, especially in politics.
Yup. The MSM/ liberal definition of "partisanship" is
when Republicans disagree with Democrats and refuse to let a MINORITY that lost the elections run the government. When Democrats are "partisan" the MSM doesn't call it that. They call it "principled leadership".
Example: Ted Kennedy is a "principled leader".
Newt Gingrich was a "partisan, divisive" figure.
I forgot "divisive". They love to use that one too. BEing "Divisive" is when a conservative actually uses FACTS to point out the folly and failures of liberal ideology.

Great metaphor!
The greatest thing by far is to be a master of metaphor. It is the one thing that cannot be learned from others; it is also a sign of genius, since a good metaphor implies an eye for resemblance.
