This is an 'in your face' validation of the Second Amendment. All of America and the entire world saw what the criminals were doing. There are many stories coming out where home and business owners saved their lives and property because they were armed.

Love your neighbor as you would love yourself...
And you cannot watch over your neighbor and protect him and his loved ones against armed thugs if you are not armed and trained..
Obviously you cannot protect your own family either if you are unarmed and untrained..
Be a protector of your own family and a good neighbor... Arm yourself and practice...

My parents live south of Jackson MS about 60 miles. When Katrina went through they lost their power. My brother (who lives next door to them) got them a generator and a window air unit so they could escape the heat. Gasoline was a serious problem though, none was available at any price. He (my brother) drove to Monroe, LA and bought 200-250 gallons and was on his way home when he encountered a serviceman's wife and child out of gas, on the side of the road. He stopped and filled her car up so she could get home to her family. As he was getting ready to resume his trip home a man pulled over in front of him and demanded gas. My brother told him that he had none to spare , and the guy said "oh yes you do, and I am going to take it". At this point my brother lifted his shirt revealing his .45, told the guy that if he didn't leave he wouldn't be needing any gas. Having a change of heart, the guy left.
I also had two "gentlemen" who were going to relieve me of my families gas supply that I had for our generator. At the sound of the ole Mossberg 590 chambering a 00 buckshot round, they left. I didn't even get close enough to them to be able to identify them. (It was about 3:30 am)
Nothing says "go rob someone else" like the Mossberg 590!
Cordially,
GE
