Remember the story about those cops who threw their badges out of the squad car window? Many of them can't wait to get out of NO fast enough-maybe hoping their corruption won't be exposed.
I hadn't heard that. But i agree with your theory that they were escaping their own corruption.
I suspect that you're right too. Too much corruption. These police officers aren't very well trained and prepared to do their job, are they? FWIW, I just heard this morning that the governor still hasn't declared a state of emergency for LA.
I have to wonder how many of them are are going to retire on their newly acquired jewelry holdings.
