I can't believe that guy had the nerve to say, 'Keep bringing back food and water.' If I was one of the rescuers I'd be telling him, 'Get your tail end on this boat now or you are on your own because we are marking this house with the word IDIOT so everyone will know not to waste their precious food and water on you!'

What they should do is tell these folks to either get in the boat voluntarily or get arrested and face criminal charges. With the flood, possibility of dysentery, West Nile Virus, dead bodies, violence, Sean Penn, etc. that city needs to be totally evacuated. There is no way that officials waste time bringing these people food and water for the next several months while the city is being drained. It will be a year minimum before this guy can get to a grocery store if they let him remain there.
