Twenty year old Jabbar Gibson is being lauded for taking a New Orleans school bus, picking up 70 strangers at random, and saving them. The media just can't see that Mayor Nagin and Gov. Blanco didn't have one person in their combined administrations that were as resourceful as this one kid. Too easy for them to ask for the federal gov. to bail them out and take all the heat for what went wrong.

Jabbar Gibson, at 20, has more sense than Mayor Nagin.
At least he knew how to use a bus to evacuate poor folks before a hurricane.
