Anyone making the accusation that help was delayed because of race is a racist, an idiot, and likely politically motivated. Evil is the best word I can think to describe them.
I remember the case of a man caught in a car that was crushed by the freeway collapse at the time of the 1989 World Series earthquake...it was a race against time to rescue him before he died and a lot of attention was paid to the drama. They did get to him and everyone cheered. Then he died some days later in the hospital, but that didn't get nearly as much attention.
