That GFDL track is the true worst case scenario for NO. Considering we are 4-5 days out, it will change... but, it's a bit creepy to see something like that predicted now.
Climatology suggests it may end up further west... which could bring it over waters that haven't been touched by a storm yet.
Is this thing right off the FL coast now?
I agree, and even if it doesn't stick to this forecast, it still looks destined to create trouble anyway. Needs to be watched.
