Lets see, people were told to evacuate, they didn't, went to Dome which was shelter of last resort. They were told to bring their own food and water as there would be none. The folks who CHOSE TO STAY AT HOME were in for the long haul.
I would assume that most would get food, water, batteries,
radio, medicine, etc. upstairs with them and tough it out.
Now we have endured countless scenes of people screaming we didn't get any water etc, a lie IMHO, and the media is behaving as if they have been stranded at sea for a month.
Hey Joe Scarborough, they were on there own for 4 days. No body even swept up the garbage. You would think they just survived the Bataan Death March if you listen to the MSN.
They said a lot of the people refusing to leave have a lot of water and food with them
Isn't that the truth.
I guess I just have a bad attitude. I'd been away and came back to this mess. I just know it's not right when you have temporary shelters that become long term. It's not right when those shelters are in churches and they have to ask some refugees to leave because they are beating their wife and drinking alcohol! In church!!!!!!!
I tell you, we are just not used to that sort of thing here.
It's not right that some in those shelters just up and leave and wander about in the community. Noone has any idea where they went or what they are up to.
