Let me tell you, I saw what I saw at @6:00 am Wed. ( sorry it was Wed.). I couldn't believe it. Thsi aid, a young woman, was in a crouched position in front of Blank o after she had just finished an interview with a national outlet and waiting for the next. The "aid" was just absolutely coaching her and when she suggested the gov. needed more help, BlanK o said, Oh yeah, thanks for riminding me. I WAS GOING TO CALL IN THE MILITARY BUT I FORGOT.
I'm glad someone else saw the feed of Governor Blanco doing a series of national interviews from what I believe was a studio in Baton Rouge. It was supposed to be WWL TV on line news live stream, but this session was obviously mistakenly put out over the internet for a period of time that morning. Like you, I could not believe it when I heard the whispered comments to her aids. I have had my computer recorder running a lot of the time over the last week just recording WWL and scanner audio. I had a lot going on that morning, had a computer glitch, and I was not able to find those comments recorded when I looked for them that day, but I'm going to go back through my files and look again. If I find them, I'll post a transcript of the relevant parts. Surely there are recordings of this out there.

I keep thinking about the post where it was stated there were 4 dempsey dumpsters worth of weapons collected in the Dome. Then I think of all those buses with just one armed guard each. I find it an absolute miracle that all the guards and drivers made it to Houston alive.

Glad to hear someone with some media-tech knowledge heard the same thing. I was on my computer checking in with FR at around 6:15 since I knew things were getting ugly in NO. I was surprised at how the aid was just coaching her. It was so stereotypical it was uncanny. Then her, "oh yeah, I forgot to call in the military comment..". I think my response woke up half the family.
Thanks in advance for your efforts. I would dearly love to see that segment transcribed to FR.

(There's nothing like hearing someone say thank you for your help.)
