They said yesteday that as long as water is standing in the homes they wouldn't grow mold below the water line, but since it is so humid there the moisture wicking up the walls would mold very quickly and as soon as water is drained the rest would mold. Also the wood-framed houses would become more prone to fire (for some reason that escapes me now)...
they showed all these hardwood floor buckled due to water damage.....man....all those houses.
