One thing we cannot know about a candidate or an officeholder, until they are tested, is whether they are loyal or fair-weather friends, whether they are courageous or cowards.

Steve Forbes is obviously a coward. Dittos for Jindal and Gingrich.

I have no more use for any of them. They know the facts; they are simply unwilling to take heat from the press.
