I heard one of the soldiers say this morning that the hardest people to get to leave were the ones who refused to leave the bodies of their loved ones. Some were too sick to leave. They evacuated several old age homes. I've been watching them lift people and many times they are very frail old folks who never listen to radio or TV and thought the flood was just temporary.
In this politically correct time we often forget that there are human feelings involved.
I wonder how those who have loved ones that died will deal with that in the future.
I know it would be extremely hard for me to just leave a dead loved one with out knowing what will happen to the body.
