i sure am glad that she did stress that BUSH called for the evacuation....this may spell the end to her political career as she failed to act and that the president had to go over her head to do the right thing
I'll tell you whose political career is over: Governor Blanco, Mayor Nagin, Senator Landrieu, the entire Democrat Party in the state of Louisiana. The oil business power base that was in New Orleans will move to Baton Rouge. The smart heads in NO will build up both the shipping and tourism business in the Port of NO and the French Quarter/Convention business. Baton Rouge will become the number one city in Louisana, and Lafayette will grow in infuence. Blacks will slowly abandon the Democrat Party in Louisiana as they get real about their misguided loyalty to a political party that cares nothing at all about them, and a ripple effect among Blacks will flow throughout the country. The national Democrat Party will have permanent egg on its face for being nothing but negative against the President and the federal government (Of course the national Democrat Party has no idea of what to do on its own, they just bitch and moan and provide no solutions whatsoever!!!) Check my prediction within in a couple of years, and I bet you I am right on!!!
