Thanks everyone for the comments.
Hopefully this gets out, and the Governor gets prison out of this.
Incidently Bill O'Reilly was not very truthful on his show tonight stating there was nothing in the evacuation plans that talk about the Levees Breeching. He stated he read the plan.
I direct you to the following from the Louisiana web Site.
And I quote:
"4. The Area is protected by an extensive levee system, but above-normal water levels and hurricane surge could cause levee overtopping or failures."
A Breech is a failure and for him to state there is nothing in the plan is not factual and he should make a correction. If he read the plan as he stated, .he would have seen this. I know this plan inside out now, and we need to get this story right.
Journalistic integrity is important in a story like this.
Also in the Plan on Page 47 of 244, it states a Levee Failure is a Number 2 C, Technological failure as a Dam or Levee Failure.
All the Plans are here:

Thanks for all the support everyone, it is much appreciated.

Joe

Resources should be devolved, not just to the states, but to the charities and neighborhood healers who need them most, and should be available on a competitive basis to all organizations including religious groups that produce results. As President, Governor George W. Bush will..."
