Now that the best military in the world is taking care of the victims of Katrina, it is time for us who are so inclined, to remember the animals. If you are of like mind, click on the picture below. Some of you terrific Freepers may have a few bucks to donate.

Pray for the people, pray for the innocent animals.

I am volunteering to redo their site for them. It is abominable. I have broadband and I finally gave up on it loading the gargantuan pictures that made it impossible to read the text before it jumped elsewhere to yet another gargantuan pic being loaded. :/

If they would like it redone professionally for free, freepermail me.

I'm tired of hearing about New Orleans looters, shooters, and anarchists being labeled "animals". The animal world doesn't deserve so gross an insult. That Mayor Ray Nagin ordered all the animals in New Orleans to be shot shouldn't surprise anyone who has ever seen Animal Cops. This kind of sadistic abuse is common in many of America's urban centers, especially in places like Detroit and Oakland where dog fighting rings kill hundreds of thousands of animals every year. The Michigan chapter of the ASPCA regards Detroit as the animal cruelty capital of the Western Hemisphere. Maybe New Orleans will take over that title now.
