He wasn't ignorant at all; what do you think he should have done, put his assets in there BEFORE the storm so they ALL would have been stuck?
It's obvious you haven't a clue what is involved with a relief effort of ANY hurricane, much less one where the state and local authorities are simpletons.
I live in NC; we don't sit around and wait for FEMA or the President of the United States to come save our butts.
And if you'll stop your ranting for a few minutes, you'll notice that Mississippi and Alabama aren't in the mess that ONE CITY is in -- and that's because they got up, dusted themselves off, and GOT TO WORK.
What a difference between Haley Barbour (for instance) and Gov. Blanco. Just compare who's cleaning up and putting it back together with who's whining and looking for someone to blame (besides herself).
