• #41 one could state that the last thing one needs in a Chief Justice (or any other top functionary) is overweening ego - they tend to develop it soon enough, so the less of it they start with, the better. This kind of what you call "personal flaws" ["because I could do it"] is to be considered absolutely disqualifying, even before one goes into technicalities like his disbarment.

  Just because you don't agree with them doesn't mean that they weren't thoughtful.
