do you refer to her friendship with Landrieu as a bad thing or a good thing? Politicical vitriol like we see it on the national level has not really penetrated that state much, people who opposed each other on the issues would still gather for lunch and Cafe du Monde and Pat O'Brien's for a cold one at the end of the day (well, before Katrina hit that is) and still go together to The Swamp to watch the Tigers bury their latest victim on the gridiron. Its not that toxic a political relationship down there... corrupt yes, but toxic no..
