This is reminding me of a scene from Ruthless People when the police shot the tires out on Bill Pullman's car when he was trying to steal some money from Danny DeVito and he WHINED about it. The policeman said, "This may be the stupidest person I've ever seen; perhaps we should shoot him."

This reminds me of the typical COPS episode:

"Officer, why are you cuffing me. I didn't do nothing. What did I do?"

"Well, you are driving a stolen vehicle. You have a stolen gun in the glove compartment. You have a crack pipe full of crack and an ounce of crack in the front seat and stolen tools in the back seat. Your license plate is stolen. You have five outstanding warrants."

"But officer, I didn't do nuttin'. This is my girlfriend's car. She let me borrow it. Those warrants are for someone who looks like me. "
