"Reminds me of a Far Side cartoon where a brick is thrown through a window, containing a note, "Windows Broken? Call 555-1212"
Sounds like the main POA of all of the Rat Disaster Planners.
I don't suppose they're doing it gratis, huh?
He is bagging bodies?
>>And now the Governor's bring him down to be in charge of the recovery!
I want to introduce you to James Lee Witt. Mr. Witt ran the Federal Emergency Management Agency for eight years from 1993 to 2001. He has more than 25 years of disaster management experience.I have asked Mr. Witt to advise and assist me and Gen. Landreneau on the recovery effort.
As FEMA director, Mr. Witt turned was credited with turning that agency around. His leadership is proven, his experience is extensive and he is an asset to this recovery effort.
I'm sure he doesn't give away his "services".
$500,000 is pocket change. Billions are coming.
But what is her real story? That is what I'm wondering.
Why doesn't she mentioned today that Mr. Witt's firm supposedly drew up the plans to prevent this diaster?
This thread needs to go to Rush and Drudge.
Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco said that it was President Bush that had called and urged the state to order the evacuation.
Look at this.
Maybe rats who live in Glass Palaces shouldn't be throwing rocks at GW.
Now what we need to do is find out if the "plan" IEM came up with is the one that NO "gamed" last year -- Hurricane Pam, is that what it was?
But then out of the other side of her mouth she refused to call martial law so he could take over.
When you create disasters you get a lot of experience managing them.
Well cover my butt with petals and call me rosey
"Why doesn't she mentioned today that Mr. Witt's firm supposedly drew up the plans to prevent this diaster?"
Why hasn't any mediot from the MSM mentioned this dual connection?
The consultant's motto "When you see the light at the end of the tunnel, make more tunnel."
I posted this on another thread:
I just skimmed that plan.Good Lord!
It looks to me like one of those generic plans you find in a textbook somewhere, or crib from some disaster recovery seminar.
One quick example: the plan goes from discussing mandatory evacuation directly to discussing return of the population, without any recognition that it might take weeks to pump the water out of the New Orleans basin.
It reads like a South Park episode: 1. Steal underpants. 2. ??? 3. Profit.
Sheesh.
