I agree. As a pet owner, I would even be willing to pay some sort of deposite or cleaning fee on top of the room rate.

My pets are house-broken, but they do shed and that might be a problem for someone else that would use the room after us.

Last year in FL, practically every hotel and motel waived their no pets rule for people evacuating from the storms. Very few proplems were encountered. Everyone ewas aware of the situation and did their best handling their pets.
