I just wrote an email to several different Fox news email addresses linking this thread, after hearing them (yet again!) mention the "slow federal response".

Thank you so very much, visualops, for taking the time to do that. The more we can spread the word, the better. The MSM is not going to change its story line now, but maybe the truth will seep out anyway.

I have been shocked at how little people, especially the media, actually KNOW about storms; people who have actually been through them know that you do NOT wait for FEMA or the president of the United States to tell you what to do, when to do it, or how to do it.

They ALWAYS come after the storm is over. Without fail.

Of course, this is the instant gratification generation, heavy on the demands, shallow on historical events. Everything is NOW!

Thanks for your bumps to the top, mewzilla. Very, very quickly, the truth became a casualty of this storm thanks to (1) the utter incompetence and corruption of Louisiana officials, and (2) the drama-queen hysterics of so-called reporters. Now all Congress is interested in is covering it's collective butt and scoring political points. They don't give a rat's rear about the truth.
