While such a deranged comment will discredit him in the eyes of rational people, it actually plays very well in a LARGE portion of the black communities nationwide. They have been sold CIA conspiracies for causing the crack cocaine epidemic and all sorts of other problems. We may see the Mayor as going over the edge, but on subjects like this he is right in the mainstream of the 'African-American' community.

If only we could get the CIA to take out some of the world's tyrants and sociopaths, but they've definitely been out of that business for a long, long time.

...initial stages of nervous breakdown? or just 'nervous exhaustion'? He seems rather unstable. Yelling at the President one moment, gladhanding the next and cooling down, only to erupt like Mt. Vesuvius on national TV the next day. (It was a voice and facial expression of resignation rather than heighthened irritation, however it does lead one to wonder the mental stability). Not good for the people of New Orleans at a time like this.

And sorry to all those Mississipians and Alabamians out there who are not getting all the proper attention they deserve!
