Maybe somebody should get on the NYT website and REMIND them of this article that they printed and state it will be given wide circulation on the web
Actually the evac order was on Sunday morn. They should have done it Saturday morn. I lived thru Andrew & I was flabergasted that they did not evac earlier. I would have left Saturday am.

I am appalled at the tasteless, classless, arrogant, ignorant, self serving comments by so called Bush supporters.
I hope everyone takes note of who works to solve the problems and who works to further themselves.
Tragedy and crisis reveals character traits and what I've seen is that in addition to the usual suspects in the MSM, DU, and Liberal Leadership, we've got many fair weather Republicans/Conservatives who had the opportunity to close ranks and offer support but instead showed their a$$es to us all.
For the record, I didn't vote for Bush the first time and I'm not neccessarily a Bush supporter now. BUT I am a supporter of the President when he needs it most, regardless of who it is.
