The Superdome was meant to be a hurricane refuge, but those who sought shelter there described a lawless, squalid 'concentration camp' where two children were reportedly raped and other refugees terrorized by rioters(AFP/James Nielsen)

Just one second, AFP... it is not a concentration camp. It's a *shelter of last resort*. These rapes and so forth have never been alleged as perpetuated by the national guard or other officials but fellow displaced citizens and neighbors! Guest what? Crime doesn't take a vacation. Not in a shelter, not in a prison, not in middle class "white" neighborhoods. Get a grip!
