If Nagin and Blanco had an ounce of pride, they would resign in disgrace. So should the Levee Commission. If they had upgraded the levees instead of buying a casino this could have been averted.

Being from Georgia you may not understand the levees are not build or maintained on the local level, they are a responsibility of the Army Corps of Engineers.
