Yes, this is a great handout! I'm making copies to carry with me and to give out to the ignorant fools who use this tragedy as yet one more reason to bash the President. I'm just going to smile and hand it to them and say, "Please read this." and move on.
Unfortunately, one of our jobs, as informed citizens, is to educate the masses.

Twenty years from now, Bush will be regarded as the worst President in American history. Those who supported him, will be seen as fools. Why should I not beleive this to be true?" We sure don't have to wait twenty years to affix the 'fool' label to some of Dubya's critics though.

This sounds just like that guy ( John, I think ) that RUSH had on, who called into Rushes show about 2 weeks ago, and after that, Rush gave ( probably ) one of his best monologues in his radio career.

I like point 11 the best.

Besides == NO ONE SENDS ANYONE TO WAR THESE DAYS!!!!
IT'S AN ALL-VOLUNTEER MILITARY.
Just saying that kind of stuff shows that the writer of this little piece still has his mind in the 60's. Bet he/she still wears bellbottoms!

Thank you Ben Stein. A logical and truthful voice that is all but gone from the MM. We are fortunate to have you.

You might as well put in there the fact that Clinton and his people failed DISMALLY in stopping 9/11.
To: Natty Boh III
Surely DHS should have a plan in place for that scenario and how to quickly deal with the aftermath. I'm sure they do have a plan, but what does that have to do with this tragedy? You are talking about what-if terrorism. We are talking about here and now reality/
Where's the plan? Again... I'm sure there is a plan for terrorist attacks and I'm sure lots of people know where it is. But I don't. But, back to the flood plan.... I'ts in place right now.
And despite Nagin/Blanco and they ineptness of local officials, I see the national response to Katrina going quite well.
