Exactly....Once NG is federlized they cannot perform in LEO actions..that is why you keep the NG at the state level.
That is not the way it happened in Little Rock.
Ike sent in the 101st AND federalized the guard. The 101st left after a while and the FEDERALIZED guard took over police actions for the rest of the school year.
