That's what I've been asking. The city the size of NO (with all of the democrat pork all of these years) has to have a pretty big Metro fleet. Where were they? In fact I'll bet BR itself has a good size Metro and school bus fleets. What exactly was the plan down there.

There is a Nuclear plant close to both of these cities so what were they going to do about an accident there.

It sounds to me like the LA governmental response was criminal actually.

On a thread yesterday, a freeper appeared to have found NO city statistics that showed there were somewhere in the vicinity of 300 school buses and 350 mass transit buses that the mayor and governor failed to utilize. I wish the person who found these numbers would start a whole tread just on this subject.
