Let's be clear. I counted about 100 buses in the previous wire image (I wish someone would post it here), plus an extra 18, (thank you fellow freepers), here in this BBC video.

If each bus holds 40 people? we're talking about the ability to move 4,720 per trip times 3 trips a day for 3 days (friday, saturday, and sunday before the storm), we're talking about 42,480 that where not moved because these buses where not used before the storm, when the roads actually existed, the weather was fine, fresh water and food where plentiful, and a Cat5 was still in the gulf.

You're probably right and now President Bush will have to add monitering forming hurricanes so he can direct incompetent nincompoop city and state leaders in the event of an emergencey to his already busy schedule.
