I know I've been 'corrected', Wikipedia states its a 'salt water' lake.

However Wikipedia has been known to slightly wrong on occasion. The USGS only says the water is "brackish", BUT that the lake is polluted as 'heck'.

I'm on a mission to find the salinity content :-)

I have heard it is a very shallow lake, maybe 5 feet at the deepest, mud bottom. Not much good for anything. I repeat, I have heard this years ago but don't know for sure.
