I am writing regarding your support and sponsorship of the 2005 NFL Kickoff. While I do participate and sports, and support the Tennessee Titans, I do not support Kanye West. I watched the recently televised fund raiser for the American Red Cross where Mr. West stated, "George Bush doesn't care about black people" and told viewers that National Guardsmen were given the unfair order to shoot at African-Americans on the streets of New Orleans. I would assume that the NFL, media, and sponsors would want to distant themselves from such racist comments and racist individuals. I know that such statements have caused a reduction in respect and donations to the American Red Cross as they sponsored this media event. I look to you as not just a supporter, but a sponsor, of the NFL Kickoff to take a stand. I look to you as a company that speaks about diversity while promoting all races and genders to denounce Mr. West. I know that I am not alone in my views and hope that you will understand that my support of you will be determined by your response to Mr. West as I hope you will not allow him to promote his views at the 2005 NFL Kickoff event. I look forward to your reply and hope that you will support all races by not promoting this racist as he makes slanderous claims.
