Fox: Gov Blanco has HIRED Former FEMA Director James Lee Witt as her new FEMA guy....and of course he hits the ground running....attacking putting FEMA under the umbrella of Homeland Security.
we were talking about that upthread - Blanco did this on orders from the Clintons, Witt is the Clinton point man on politicizing this against Bush.
I will again suggest my tin-foil theory - Blanco was told by the DNC to dropback on maintaining civil order in the first 24-48 hours, to make FEMAs job harder, so they could blame Bush for this.
