Yes. Their dad used to play for the Saints. Just talked to a friend of mine in Houma. Apparently Archie Manning is on the ground in NO and the Manning family is involved in helping people coming out of NO -- all of them. My friend is PO'd at the Saints and says many there feel the same way. After they have supported the losing franchise through thick and thin owner Benson took them to San Antonio and didn't cancel the pre-season game when all the players and organization could have been helping with the disaster.
My friend also thinks Blanco screwed everything up and Bush is furious with the whole debacle. Bush took command and put the general in charge. Word is he told Blanco and Nagin to shut up.
Also... many refugees in Houma. The city has doubled in size to almost a quarter million.

You can tell he was furious at them, and their demeanor after meeting them looked like he'd administered more than a few tongue lashings.
Nagin and Blanco are the disgrace here. Maybe folks, don't I wish, would consider it is more important to elect a competant leader than a "D". If they had, things could have been less disastrous.

Verrrrry innnnterestingggg. I suspect they relayed that to the Klintoons and/or the DNC and that may be why Witt is in there all of a sudden. Just a wild speculation on my part, but with these sneaky, slimey jerks, nothing would surprise me.
