Don't know the political make-up of Houston and some of the other cities that the evacuees have been relocated, but know that Texas is primarily a red state. Couldn't it work it reverse (e.g., if some of these folks get out and start working in the commuities and seeing the kindness of them and talking to Pubbies, couldn't they convert to R (especially since at least a few of them are pretty ticked at Naign and Blanco).
I can't begin to predict what the shift will be; only that there will be one if the evacuees stay where they "land".
