Does anyone else have the impression that GWB got the LA Gov and the NO Mayor on the chopper, and laid down the law to them? Basically told them "this is what you need, this is what we can give you, this is where you sign. Here, read this."

She cannot handle anything and she is spinning the hiring of Witt as a great idea of hers, but I am sure after The feds came in and saw all the bad stuff and either she realized finally that he would need someone smart on her side, or she was told to hire him.

I am betting that behind the scenes some one in today's FEMA/Homeland Security said "Can someone find out what Jamie Witt is doing, and if he can clear his schedule for the next few months. Gov Blank-o is clearly out of her depth [stupid pun, I know] We need to get someone in LA that we can work with."
