Geraldo is a big problem, but other reporters that I respected previously were making me cringe in the last few days. One example that was really hurtful was a Fox reporter interviewed a Woman that had her Husband and baby with her and she had been through hell, but was not complaining. You could tell a lot about her by the few words she spoke. The reporter kept going back to her and tried countless times to get her to feel sorry for herself and dwell on her plight. This is the wrong thing to do,when people know the horror and feel it and yet do not dwell on it instead look ahead to when things will be better, they are the survivors. I wanted to shake that reporter and tell him to stop trying to get negative soundbites because we see with our eyes the reality of the situation. The reporters on Fox are generally good, but a few need to be furloughed asap.
Agreed. I suspect that woman was just grateful to still HAVE her husband and baby.
The reporters are exploiting the situation for ratings.
I was noticing today that the sound bites of survivors I heard on the radio were sometimes complaining, but the reporter's question wasn't aired, so you didn't know how much the person was nudged into it.
