Be mad at Geraldo all you want. But there is no "falsehood." They got some food and water late yesterday but I saw these people on TV and there were women and babies standing in the elements for days without help of any kind. It was not a "falsehood" that people were still dead and dying. Hell, I don't think the FEMA guy even knew they were there until yesterday, even though reporters had been screaming about it for days. Sorry, I disagree with you. I'm witnessing a total lack of empathy from people here. It's appalling.
I have nothing but empathy. I don't think my eart could break over this more. I wanted these people evac-ed Tuesday.
But I (yes, cynically) think Geraldo has his own agenda. He WILL take credit for this.
