How in the hell do you know that this isn't the plan. Look, this is unprecedented. This is a nuclear explosion without the radiation. This is 92,000 square miles of total destruction. This is a hell of a lot bigger that what is happening in New Orleans. There are 2 million people out there that have lost everything and, once again, those that are adults are taking care of themselves until help arrives and those that are emotional infants are sitting on their hands waiting for help to get to them.

Let me ask you this. The super dome was at least shelter. There were literally 1000's of able bodied men in that shelter that could have at least organized themselves to keep the criminals from preying on the weak and protecting those that couldn't protect themselves. What did they do, the trashed the only shelter they had to the point of it being uninhabitable. Now we see able bodied MEN scrambling on to buses while women children and elderly are left behind. At this point there shouldn't be one damn male under the over the age of 18 in any of the shelters in Texas. They should all be in NO helping to get their wives kids and parents the hell out of NO.

Bears repeating over and over. That has been something that has been ticking me off.

I saw one man on television who escaped NO with 18 children to take care of. The mothers gave the kids to him so they could get to safety. Another man, I heard, helped a woman give birth on the overpass. There are many heroic stories coming out of NO.

A middle-aged guy with his wife and daughter stated the same sentiment (truth) so eloquently this morning on Fox and Friends. He said "New Orleans needed men to stand up and act like men in this crisis. I'm ashamed of what my neighbors have been doing instead.
I'm glad this guy made it out w/ his family. He knows what being a real man is about.

Very well said.

Good posts.

Take a look at the trash and crap.

Why couldn't the able bodied men have formed groups and cleaned up the place like in any civilized situation.

It looks like to me that the men was doing a survivor series of the fittest.

Something liberals preach because they have no moral code to live by.

However, that aside there is no excuse for humans to revert to animal form just because the situation is deemed to be bad.

That is what is driving me nuts too. Everyone from the Mayor on down, just sat back and whined. I think my monetary donations will go to the Houston effort. They appear to be handling the situation very well. Shame on the State of LA and the City of NO for not being better prepared for this.
