Oh baloney. Look I have never seen officials and weather experts so damn scared in my life and I have lived in the gulf coast for many years. There is ABSOLUTLY no argument to be made that people did not have timely and forceful warnings.


OK, I grew up in Texas. It is different here in Louisiana. I was smart enough to leave. I could see the major category 5 hurricane coming and knew to leave. Many in New Orleans believe everything their elected officials tell them. They didn't order a mandatory evacuation until President Bush called Blanco and Nagin and told them to do so.

So you are saying that those in NO are just too stupid to think for themselves. Ok.
