I am perplexed about the number of people in the conv center,,I initially heard 3000 and now hearing multiples of that. Does anyone know?

In a word, no. Geraldo had the NOLA Police Chief with him, and the Police Chief said 30,000 (thirty thousand). The Police Chief also wants transportation OUT, and may be exaggerating in hopes it causes a quicker reaction.

I was wondering about the security geraldo had there. Maybe they need to be securing other areas instead of protecting him..Just my opinion...
