Hurricane Katrina survivors collect food and water during food distribution at the New Orleans Convention Center, September 2, 2005.
Cool picture!
Dang! I missed it. How about a two-sentence summary?
Hubby is busy screaming at Shep at the moment....uh oh....seems the mayor commandeered busses for his friends. Terrible political fallout, according to Shep....now, Aruba news.
What's Trent saying?
I mean to tell you he fileted and gutted him.
As only a good old Southern boy could do to a prissy Gloria Vanderbilt baby boy!
GAWD, how revoling........I am actually cheering Trent Lott!
This is a multiple host-State problem with varying curriculum requirements. Each State will have to come up with their custom solution. It's a geographically logistical nightmare where all States will need to have an "equal/fairness" policy.
Too bad we don't have a national curriculum...it would help in this instance.
Evidently Anderson has been given his talking points after the His grilling of Mary Landrieu last night
Oregon National Guard soldiers prepare to board a C-130 transport plane headed for Louisiana at the Air National Guard base in Portland, Ore., Friday, Sept. 2, 2005. The Oregon National Guard has received an alert order for 2,000 soldiers from the 41st Brigade Combat Team to assist with support operations. in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

Which thread was that on do you remember?
My hard headed wife says you added to it.
Cheering Lott? Desperation has set in.
good shot. why aren't they moving them out of there, can they not get buses to that location?
Thanks Karl, copied over to my personal journal.
Anderson wanted Trent to dmit response was slow. He claims victims were asking if our troops in Iraq had slowed response. Trent replied You guys are the ones asking that. LMAO
Doggonit. I would have given good money to hear Lott pummel Cooper. I guess I could turn on CNN sometimes.
It's so detailed it looks like a hoax. Pity that the Governor ignored it.
Honestly... everyone was amazed ,to say the least, that more wasn't done to get these people out of harms way. If you are wanting something to do over the weekend, take a journey back over the hurricane Katrina threads. The facts don't lie.
I think there are more people showing up....
I know the people i see on WWL arent tired...the kids are playing around and everyone is carrying food.
I have sworn off CNN!
