Brit normally has fridays off. He's also the Washington DC Managing Editor so I don't think he's fired. I don't know why he wasn't on thursday.
They're not even calling the show "Special Report with Brit Hume"--usually they'll run the logo, etc., and say who's "in" for Brit that day. Hasn't been done. I sure hope this pair isn't replacing him.
