But Shep's psychoneurotic behavior, even though normal and true, only serves to exacerbate the problem--and to inform us of his unprofessionalism. Does he really think we can't see the ghastly images his cameraman is broadcasting to us and interpret them for ourselves? Damn! He's on TV, not radio. If his normal and true feelings are flowing out of control, why not act to bring aid to the victims? How about begging, off camera, for Fox News to rent a nearby chopper and start flying in cases of bottled water? They could evacuate a couple of critically ill people each run, as well. Geez, use your influence in a positive manner. Lead, follow, or get out of the way, but don't use your position to fan the flames of hysteria.
I think he's doing that too.
You can't change his stripes but I think he is beginning to "get it."
The last thing anyone should be doing is panicking. The media is sure doing it's best to stoke the fear and panic. It's typical Liberalism; all emotion, no substance.
If everyone kept their heads about them, this whole mess could get cleaned up in an orderly fashion alot quicker.
